 Santiago Exchange participatets in ECLAC Sustainable development Forum in Santiago

Due the importance of Sustainability in the financial market, the Director of the Board of the Santiago Exchange, Jeannette von Wolfersdorff, participated at the Forum of the Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean on Sustainable Development, organized by the Economic Commission for the Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and the United Nations Global Compact, the activity was held in Santiago on April 22 to 26. The panel was the prelude for the third meeting of this Forum, having drawn more than 1.000 representative of government, civil society and international organizations.

The panel “Financing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in America and the Caribbean", had the participation of Jeannette and also counted on the participation of Richard Rothenberg, CEO of Global A.I. Corporation, Colombia; Narciso Berberana, CEO of Aguas Andinas, Chile; Diana Alarcón, Head of International Affairs for Mexico City; Nelson Villalobos, Executive Secretary of Central Bank of Bolivia; and Carolina López Garcia, UN Environment Financial Initiative Representative. At the opportunity, she analysed the progress and challenges of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, remarking that in Santiago Exchange “we know sustainability requires attentions, responsibility and transparency”.
